Erin is an award-winning Scottish composer based in Glasgow who is passionate about making music and engaging in community outreach work. 

Her music has been performed by renowned orchestras including Britten Sinfonia and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Martyn Brabbins. She was awarded the Musicians’ Company Silver Medal in 2022 at their installation dinner in Goldsmiths Hall, London

Her recent commission "On Green Hill" will be premiered at the upcoming Cumnock Tryst festival, led by renowned composer Sir James MacMillan.

    The main work in this concert is All the Hills and Vales Along by James MacMillan, and also includes the world premiere of two new works by Gillian Walker and Erin Thomson, settings for chamber choir and solo brass. Tickets are available below, through RCS.

    A fresh and innovative take on the traditional piano trio, bringing the vibrancy and versatility of the saxophone to this traditional chamber music setting. Programme includes The Graceful Art of Walking on Stilts, by Erin Thomson. Tickets are available below, through eventbrite.
